According to an old Indian legend, there was once a time when all human beings were Gods, but they so abused their divinity that Brahma, the chief God, decided to take it away from them and hide it where it could never be found.
Where to hide their divinity was the question. So Brahma called a council of the Gods to help him decide.
“Let’s bury it deep in the earth,” said the Gods.
But Brahma answered, “No, that will not do because humans will dig into the earth and find it.”
Then the Gods said, “Let’s sink it in the deepest ocean.”
But Brahma said, “No, not there, for they will learn to dive into the ocean and will find it.”
Then the Gods said, “Let’s take it to the top of the highest mountain and hide it there.”
But once again Brahma replied, “No, that will not do either, because they will eventually climb every mountain and once again take up their divinity.”
Then the Gods gave up and said, “We do not know where to hide it, because it seems that there is no place on earth or in the sea that human beings will not eventually reach.”
Brahma thought for a long time and then said, “Here is what we will do. We will hide their divinity deep in the center of their own being, for humans will never think to look for it there.”
All the Gods agreed that this was the perfect hiding place, and the deed was done. And since that time humans have been going up and down the earth, digging, diving, climbing, and exploring – searching for something already within themselves.
Some 5,000 years ago, people began to harness the inner stillness of meditation to reconnect with their inner divinity. It’s been part of many ancient practices, from India, Tibet, China, Japan, South America and beyond.
The omniscient Yogi Shiva was a legendary meditator. So was the Buddha. And in more recent times, there are many modern-day spiritual icons and leaders like Paramahansa Yogananda, Deepak Chopra, Gandhi and even Russell Simmons, Steve Jobs and Oprah who use meditation to create extraordinary outcomes.
As for the rest of us? Yes, millions of people today already use this practice to relax, sleep better, focus and even heal. But few understand its fullest power:
Meditation can turn you into a reality-bending superhuman… by tapping you into a Universal field of intelligence and accessing a personal power so potent that you can literally create…anything.
Does that sound a little out there? It won’t when you consider the evidence…
We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make the world. – Buddha
Science tells us that everything in the universe is energy. And that very energy is what makes up your body, the bark of the tree out your window, the smell of the lavender flowers in a field, the screen that is in front of you as you read this, the water that came out of your shower head this morning and every single star in our known universe.
This vast energy comes in different forms and vibrations, and our thoughts are included in this, which is how we can, as Buddha says, make our world. You see, as conscious beings, our conscious minds are always creating, the same way our subconscious mind is always functioning.
Studies show the conscious mind can only handle about 40 bytes of information a second while our subconscious mind is taking in millions of bytes of information every second, to do things like continuing to allow your heart to pump right now and other pretty important body functions.
In Dr. Maxwell Maltz’s book Psycho-Cybernetics, the part of the brain called the Reticular Activation System is mentioned, which is responsible for filtering of the information and choosing which 40 bytes of information make it to your conscience awareness, or to sound Matrix-like, deleting most of the reality around you.
Dr. Maltz describes it as an automatic goal seeking ‘servo-mechanism’: so as long as you give it the right instructions by vividly imagining your ideal outcome in your mind, it will work towards manifesting this outcome to you.

Sounds like a job for meditation, right?
If you’re reading this, chances are you already know there are countless studies verifying the power of meditation for accessing your subconscious, digging out hidden truths about yourself, your habits and your thought patterns, and even for rewiring your behavior.
What you may not yet know is that more recent studies prove the benefits of meditation go even deeper than you may expect. For instance, a growing body of research shows that meditation physically strengthens your brain, with effects including increased cortical thickness, increased gray matter density, and improved white matter mechanisms.
Harvard neuroscientists were also stunned in a recent study that showed gray matter rebuilding itself in the brains of people who meditated just 20 minutes a day for 8 weeks!
And then there’s the matter of meditation programming you with better autopilot habits and thought patterns by upgrading your DNA sequencing. In fact it even prevents your telomere strands from shortening, which protects you against a host of illnesses like cancer, heart disease and diabetes.
Okay…so if both science AND spirituality tell us we can use meditation to turn off all that noise, access our inner voice, heal, and tap into the source of our innate ability to manifest, then what’s stopping you from sitting down right now, and bending reality?
The challenge is in overcoming meditation’s biggest obstacle: yourself.
Finding the time to sit down and meditate can be challenging – especially when the act of meditation itself can be hard to get right.
There’s the mind chatter. The background noise. The itches and twitches. The imperfect technique. The inconsistency of being able to meditate one day, and being utterly distracted the next.
All these challenges erode the full power of meditation, and can turn this profoundly life-changing practice into nothing more than a few minutes of quiet time, or at worst a difficult activity you dread.
So how does one overcome these obstacles – and unlock the full reality-bending power of meditation?
Through my 14 years of experience, there is one TOOL I have used with my students – and in my own life – to get meditation right…
A tool that helps you:
- Detach from mind chatter and conscious thoughts, and allow them to pass through you as they come, as easily as sand slipping through your fingers…
- Smoothly and enjoyably lower your brainwaves from high activity to relaxed activity, where your highest state of being resides…
- Breathe yourself into the peak mental, physical and spiritual state required for DEEP meditation, and keep yourself in that state for as long as it serves you…
- And even to tap into specific portions of your subconscious mind, access Universal intelligence, and achieve highly specific objectives.
In short, this tool helps you work towards what Dr. Maltz describes as “the right instructions for an ideal outcome in your mind.”
You see, once you use this tool to optimize your meditation, it becomes easy to evoke your specific goals in your conscious mind, and then transfer them to your subconscious to help achieve that goal on autopilot.
It does this by bringing to your attention all the relevant information which otherwise might have remained as ‘background noise’.
At Project:Yourself, we believe meditation is an essential tool for solving everyday challenges like poor sleep, health or stress, and helping you achieve your goals.
But beyond that, it’s also about accessing a part of you that has the power to create nearly superhuman breakthroughs both in your life – and in the world around you.
This meditation-enhancing tool I’m talking about helps you achieve both these ordinary and extraordinary outcomes – more smoothly and consistently than ever before.
How do I know? Because as a yoga and meditation instructor, I’ve seen it create this effect on my hundreds of students.
And on a personal level, once I started using it to help me meditate better, the joy, beauty and results of my practice amplified tremendously. Soon, my husband Amish began meditating with me, and it became a regular couple activity.
Then my nearly 3-year-old daughter started joining in, and it became a family activity 🙂
Now I’d love to share this tool with YOU, so you too can awaken the full reality-bending benefits of your meditation practice – and finally access your own superhuman potential.
